What is the difference between parry and held guard?
The action depends on how you press the defense input. Use a deliberate timed press when practicing a parry; holding it maintains guard. Watch the tutorial’s success counter to distinguish a registered parry from simply surviving the hit. The recorded tooltip also distinguishes their Sha-Chi consequences, so those two outcomes should not be treated as interchangeable.
How should you react to the attack color?
Use blue as the signal to practice the timed defensive press and red as a signal to evade. Do not interpret a red warning as an invitation to hold guard longer. First learn to recognize the color and the approaching hit; then refine the timing instead of repeatedly pressing before you have identified the attack.
How can you revisit the lesson?
Use the Help section in Settings to revisit tutorials you have already encountered. Repeat one lesson at a time and compare what the game marks as successful. This guide does not claim a universal millisecond or frame window; your selected difficulty and the actual prompt deserve attention before you rely on an external timing table.
