Which tools should you connect with blocked paths?
Use the table as a return-trip checklist. It records specific reward and obstacle relationships from the collected acquisition records, not every possible route in the game. If a barrier still resists the tool, check that you have identified the same obstacle and region before assuming the item or your save is broken.
| Tool | Reported source | Exploration use |
|---|---|---|
| Flaming Mane | Lion Dance Grandmaster, Pangzhen | Burns thick vines |
| Bashpole | Wan Jun, Mandate Encampment | Breaks floorboards |
| Bastion | Zhuo Bi the Gatekeeper, Village of Lu | Protection against arrow traps |
How should you record a route for later?
Write down the region, nearest landmark and the visible obstacle. A screenshot of the approach is more useful than a note saying only that something was locked. When you acquire another tool, review those notes and group nearby return trips together; this reduces aimless backtracking without requiring a complete collectible map.
